If you get the following message when you open a vterm:
The session is reserved for physical serial port communication.Then this may be caused by the fact that your system is still in MDC, or manufactoring default configuration mode. It can easily be resolved:
- Power down your frame.
- Power it back up to standby status.
- Then, when activating the default LPAR, choose "exit the MDC".
